- Words on a page are able to stir my insides so much more than a TV or Cinema Screen. READING is such a unique and special feeling.
- HOME shall and will always be synonymous to my mom and dad, wherever they are around the world – that is home.
- It’s the age of speed. The time is NOW, if opportunities come a’knocking and it feels right, just take it and go!
- TINY PEOPLE have a magnetic strength over me, they make me want to squeeze their tiny cheeks and bounce them around.
- COMMITMENT helps me grow.
- I lost the keys of my car in an airport, dropped 2k on the road and never got that back, lost one of my most precious watches during travels – these things happen, have a crack about it and MOVE ON.
- Every one of us has a PASSION for something – the treasure lies in identifying what lights your fire, and work towards making that your reason to get out of bed every day.
- HEELS hurt but they just go together with good clothes. Live in pain or learn to walk in them!
- EVOLUTION: don’t beat yourself over your mistakes. Understand what you’ve done, process happenings, learn from the experience and become a better person.
- SUPPORT: It’s incredible how many partners, parents, friends, family, strangers are present around us every day. I counted people around me once. 26 in a single day – we are definitely never alone in this world.
- PERSPECTIVE is important. Life happens and its easy to get swayed one way or another. When I step out of my body and see myself and situations from outside, I feel reassured that it’s not time to worry as yet. I also feel a bit crazy doing this, but that’s another story.
- PUBLIC SPEAKING: it’s an incredible skill, one that I would love to master and do at ease – A TedTalk someday perhaps?
- CELEBRATE: I celebrated pancake day not too long ago and loved the feeling of really honoring this oh so wonderful food. Was also an opportunity to have so many people over. Put these two together and the outcome is a need for more celebrations!
- HARD WORK: it’s clearer to me now more than ever before that hard work pays off, not only in achieving desired outcomes but also in feeling proud about yourself.
- The above is true but when the body says enough, then IT’S ENOUGH.
- IM GOOD! Seeking appreciation from others is not as important as appreciating yourself – I’ve learned to identify moments where I’ve managed something that feels great to me.
- RESPECT: with all that surrounds us it’s easy to lose track on what makes us who we are, I’m slowly learning the importance of asking myself, do I still respect myself.
- DRIVING gives me freedom. I need no GPS and that may mean I get lost but I don’t care! I love being behind the wheel.
- LOVE is a fluctuating sentiment, there are times we love more and times we love less, I’ve made peace with this feeling.
- LIVE MUSIC touches my soul taking me to one of the happiest places I can ever be in.
